Hunter Soccer Club, in recognizing the recommendations
of EPYSA, the state organization to which Hunter belongs, and Intercounty
Soccer League will not reproduce exactly word for word the suggestions
about parental behavior with regard to youth teams, but the parental
charter that Hunter seeks to impress upon the parents of Hunter
players is as follows:
1. Please be supportive, not
disruptive.
2. Please be positive, not
negative, and at no time exhibit any violent behavior during practices
or games.
3. Respect your coaches and
other players, not only on your team but on the other team. Remember,
all of the kids are looking to you as well as their coaches and
the referee.
4. Be respectful to all referees.
5. Do not argue or scream out during games,
except positive cheers for your own team.
6.Try to cooperate with your
coaches who are nothing more than volunteers trying to help your
children.
7. Please have your children to practice on
time and pick them up on time after practice.
8. Please have your children where your coach
directs before a game and then promptly take them
with you after the game.
9. Always help and be supportive
and remember that your own children's eyes are on you at all times.
