Hunter Scholarship Award is known as the Sharon A. Klein Memorial Scholarship Award (for Girls)
and the Norman S. Inazu Memorial Scholarship Award (for Boys) .

Sponsor: Hunter's Annual Jack Walsh Memorial Tournament which is held each Columbus Day.

Award:

• Monetary awards(awarded on a one time basis),
• A certificate of recognition, and
• A commemorative plaque.

Award Criteria: The student must have been associated with the Hunter Soccer Club for the past three (3) years as a player, coach, referee, or administrative assistant. He or she must be a senior in the top half of his/her graduating class. The student must be able to substantiate his/her ability to be a leader. The scholarship is not available to a student who has been awarded a full scholarship from the college/university to which they plan to attend.

Selection Committee: Includes the Chairman of the Scholarship Award Committee, two club officers, and two traveling team coaches as appointed by the Club President. The Committee Chairman will vote only in the case of a tie.

Selection Date: A final selection of candidates will be made at the May 2012 Hunter Executive Committee Meeting.

When Awarded: In order to receive the award, the recipient must appear at the Hunnter annual general meeting held in June.
